Shelia Mae Becote

In addition to being a redeemed evangelist, author, and skincare specialist, Shelia Mae Becote is a God-ordained licensed minister. She is the founder of Sweet Intercession Ministry, a "Café for the Word of God," which she established in 2012 to guide those she loves so much towards God's calling.
As a very successful skincare specialist, Shelia decided to direct her energy and zeal toward evangelism. She has always been vested in the development of her community and wanted to use her experience in the word of God to bring about change through love and healing. She lives her life idolizing Christ and sharing her thoughts, testimonies, songs, and uplifting words of encouragement to those experiencing weakness of spirit and needing divine assistance.
A Ministerial Journey
Shelia grew up in Ohio as the daughter of a revered preacher in the community. As a child, she witnessed and lived through several tribulations that tested her resolve for Christ and love for God. Like many others on a spiritual journey, Shelia was tested by the Devil but always found her way back to God's word, which serves as her rock and pillar.
For many years, Shelia has been committed to living a life of service, strength, love, and forgiveness, providing ministerial services from a very young age. She has had to lean on God's word to forgive, using His divine wisdom and knowledge to overcome many challenges in her life. Today, she spreads the gospel of love, urging people to lean on God's word, which resurrects the heart, mind, and spirit. Shelia, redeemed in the doctrine of Christ, acts as a vessel of God and devotes herself to the service of those struggling on their faith journey.
Service to the Church
Shelia was ordained in 2002 and has been a faithful servant of God, serving the church, her community, and everyone she encounters. She is a gifted speaker, counselor, and writer, scribing poems and books that speak of the glory of God. Shelia is a woman of many talents, never ceasing to amaze those around her and the people she helps.
She is well-respected as a minister, regularly speaking at Godly events in the community. As an ordained minister for Christian weddings, she provides pre-marital counseling and wedding officiant services. Shelia is also a spiritual grief counselor, providing spiritual care for people facing challenges in their faith.
When she's not involved in ministerial roles, Shelia spends much of her time studying and writing. In 2017, she published a book titled Prison Without Walls. It has been called "A Shared Story," "A Cry Out for Help," "A Self Help Guide," A God Help," and "A Must Read," and shares an inspirational story told in the form of a diary documenting a woman's path from despair and brokenness to revival and redemption.
Her Vision
Through Sweet Intercession Ministry, Shelia hopes her story can inspire others to seek a better life through Christ. She aims to create a community of believers devoted to serving God and living a life of peace, hope, fulfillment, and joy.
